There are many fabulous locations in which to get married, but there’s something special about an elegant church sanctuary! This was a lovely ceremony at Central United Methodist Church, nestled in the historic district of Concord, NC. Dating back to the late 1800′s, the beautifully bright sanctuary was decorated with a heavenly array of white flowers for the big day.
The bride and groom chose classic wedding music to match their traditional setting:
Pre-Ceremony Music ~ Included Ave Maria (Schubert) and Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (Bach) at the bride’s request
Entrance of Grandparents & Mothers ~ Arioso (Bach)
Attendant’s Processional ~ Air On A G String (Bach)
Bridal Processional ~ Bridal Chorus From Lohengrin (Wagner)
Poem ~ Clair de Lune (Debussy)
Unity Candle ~ Kissing You (Desree)
Recessional~ Wedding March (Mendelssohn)
There is nothing more glorious than a wedding held somewhere historical ♥ I thought this Easter weekend wedding was absolutely lovely! Held outside in the courtyard of the stately The Morehead Inn, everything was beautiful ~ the bride, the weather, the special rose ceremony.
The bride and groom wanted a traditional feel with their ceremony music, to match the elegant setting:
Pre-Ceremony Music ~ Classical music for the most part, but I did add some Phantom of the Opera and classical-sounding movie love-themes.
Seating of the Grandparents & Mothers ~ Prelude in C (Bach)
Attendant’s Processional ~ Canon in D (Pachelbel)
Bridal Processional ~ Bridal Chorus (Wagner)
Unity Candle & Rose Ceremony ~ Arioso (Bach)
Recessional ~ Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (Bach)
I always enjoy playing at Saint Mary’s Chapel in uptown Charlotte, and this lovely wedding was no exception. It couldn’t have been more beautiful – a warm, spring Sunday afternoon in a chapel filled with flowers!
I LOVED the bride and groom’s song choices ♥
Pre-Ceremony Music ~ A mix of classical music and modern love songs
Processional (Attendants & Bride) ~ In My Life (Lennon/McCartney)
Reading ~ The Prayer (Foster)
Recessional ~ Sweet Child O’ Mine (Axl Rose)
