Beginning your history together at a location already full of history…I absolutely love this idea! The harp always looks beautiful sitting on the lawn of places like Alexander Homestead, here in Charlotte, NC. A late afternoon, fall day with perfect weather didn’t hurt either ♥

To go along with the Victorian setting, the bride and groom chose music on the traditional side:

Prelude ~ Classical Music

Seating of Grandparents & Mothers ~ “Spring” from the Four Seasons (Vivaldi)

Entrance of the Bride ~ Canon in D (Pachelbel)

Sand Ceremony ~ The Lord’s Prayer (Malotte)

Recessional ~ Wedding March (Mendelssohn)

Postlude ~ Ode to Joy (Beethoven)

Following the ceremony I also played background music for the cocktail hour.
