This wedding was held in the courtyard of an elegant and brand new venue, Brakefield at Riverwalk. Overlooking the wooded edge of the river, I thought the ceremony was lovely, despite a few dark clouds (and possible tornado!).
There are lots of different symbolic ceremonies to choose from when planning a wedding – unity candle, sand ceremony, unity cross – but I loved the ruby red Wishing Lantern that the bride and groom sent into the sky after saying their vows.
Here is the music that was chosen for the big day:
Seating of Grandparents and Mothers ~ River Flows in You (Yiruma)
Attendant’s Processional ~ Bless the Broken Road (Rascal Flatts)
Bridal Processional ~ When You Say Nothing At All (Alison Krauss)
Wishing Lantern Ceremony ~ At Last I See The Light (from “Tangled”)
Recessional ~ Lost In This Moment (Big and Rich)
