St. Augustine Harpist – Lady of La Leche Shrine
Beautiful wedding ceremony in the oh so peaceful setting of Our Lady of La Leche! The wedding was planned for the chapel, but even the glorious trees that grace the mission grounds were no match for a summer morning in Florida – the chapel was deemed too warm for comfort. However, the alternative was to hold the ceremony across the path at the exact spot where the first mass on American soil took place by none other than Pedro Menendez de Aviles himself! A little beauty, history and a lovely view of the water made for some pretty fabulous wedding vows! St. Augustine has so many great places to say ‘I Do’, this spot included 🙂

This wedding ceremony included full mass, and here is what I played:
- Prelude ~ Classical pieces, as well as a few Disney and Broadway favorites of the bride and groom.
- Processional ~ Ave Maria (Schubert)
- Recessional ~ Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (Bach)
